TOWN OF WASAGA BEACHÂ – The Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is advising the general public to count on an elevated police presence in Wasaga Seaside this weekend as officers monitor illegal driving behaviours and autos with unlawful modifications.
Harmful and aggressive driving behaviours, comparable to rushing, racing and stunt driving, may end up in {charges}. Drivers and members of the general public are reminded to respect our communities, adjust to all legal guidelines and never jeopardize the security of our residents or our neighbourhoods with dangerous, unlawful and harmful actions.
The protection of the general public and our officers is the OPP’s primary precedence. Anybody who chooses to take part in criminality could also be charged and their car could also be towed. Because of ongoing investigative efforts, these accountable could also be charged after the very fact.
