Ontario Lottery and Gaming Company (OLG) is happy to make a third-quarter (Oct. 1 to Dec. 31) fee totalling $334,627 to the City of Wasaga Seaside for internet hosting Playtime On line casino Wasaga Seaside.

Up to now, throughout OLG’s fiscal yr (April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025), Wasaga Seaside has obtained $1,036,835. Because the gaming website opened in November 2022, Wasaga Seaside has obtained $2,732,409.

These funds to host communities are primarily based on a system persistently utilized throughout all gaming websites in Ontario utilizing a graduated scale of gaming income on the hosted website.

“OLG’s Municipality Contribution Agreement payments help pave the way for Wasaga Beach to build critical infrastructure and fund important programs that make a real difference for residents,” stated Brian Saunderson, member of provincial parliament for Simcoe-Gray. “Playtime Casino Wasaga Beach supports numerous jobs and generates a great deal of economic activity that, in turn, improves the well-being of our local community.”

Since 1994, host communities have obtained greater than $2.2 billion in non-tax gaming income.

OLG is proud to share proceeds of on line casino gaming with native communities, contributing to financial improvement together with infrastructure and job creation. Funds to host communities are a part of OLG’s dedication to Ontario, which incorporates reinvesting 100 per cent of OLG’s income again into the province.

Over the previous eight years, service suppliers have invested greater than $2.5 billion in non-public sector capital funding throughout the province. These investments have led to the event and opening of seven new casinos, one large-scale resort improvement, quite a few gaming ground expansions and new non-gaming facilities.
