A suspect has been charged after Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say they caught a criminal “red-handed” after they responded to a potential theft in progress.

Simply after 9:30 Sunday morning, police say they responded to a report a few suspicious male who seemed to be taking property from a neighbour’s dwelling whereas they had been away.

“As soon as on scene, officers situated a male exiting a shed behind a personal residence on Baker Avenue within the City of Wasaga Seaside. The contents of the shed had been emptied and thrown over an adjoining fence. –      Obstructing a peace officer

–      Theft beneath $5000

–      Possession of property obtained by crime beneath $5000
