A suspect wished on two first-degree homicide charges after deadly shootings at a Vaughan, Ont., nightclub in July 2022 has been arrested in the USA, police say.

York Regional Police mentioned the person was wished on a Canada-wide warrant and was arrested earlier this week in Hartford, Connecticut with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service.

On July 23, 2022, at round 3:30 a.m., police mentioned pictures rang out at ATL Lounge on Freeway 7 in Vaughan.

Three individuals have been injured, and two of the victims later died from their accidents. They have been recognized by police as 25-year-old Tosin Amos-Arowoshegbe and 22-year-old Chibueze Momah.

The third sufferer, a 20-year-old woman, suffered critical accidents from a gunshot wound however survived, police mentioned.

Police mentioned each of the deceased have been safety guards at ATL Lounge, and the girl was a patron inside.

“An altercation took place in the lounge that led to the shooting,” police mentioned in July 2022.
