VAUGHAN – York Regional Police are investigating three separate shootings in Vaughan, where homes were hit over the weekend.
Authorities say they received a call about a shooting Saturday morning at a home on Farrell Road and Via Romano Boulevard, where a man was spotted firing several shots at the property.
On Sunday morning around 4 a. m., officers responded to the area of Pottery Place and Blue Willow Drive after hearing gunfire and discovered a vehicle that had been shot.
Within the same hour, police got another report of gunshots from Allison Ann Way and Via Romano Boulevard, where both a house and two cars were damaged.
According to police, there were people inside all three homes during these incidents, but thankfully no one was injured.
In each shooting, authorities noted that a dark-colored sedan was seen speeding away from the scenes. They believe this vehicle is linked to at least two of the events.
