VAUGHAN – Police in the area north of Toronto have named two men who lost their lives in a targeted shooting outside a residence in Vaughan, Ont., on Wednesday.
York Region police reported that they were called to a location near Kaiser Drive and Forest Drive around 5:30 p. m. after receiving calls about gunfire.
Upon arrival, officers found Pasquale Casciato, 49, and Christian Belsito, 34; both later succumbed to their injuries from gunfire.
Authorities mentioned that one of the victims resided at the home on Kaiser Drive while the other lived nearby. They were known to each other.
Late Wednesday, police indicated they believe this was a targeted attack and are looking for three male suspects who fled the scene in an SUV.
Law enforcement is asking anyone with information or security footage to reach out to investigators.
