“I welcome today’s announcement that the Province of Ontario is investing $35 million from the Housing-Enabling Water Systems Fund for vital city-building infrastructure here in Vaughan,” mentioned Mayor Steven Del Duca. “This funding will help build more than 20,000 new homes in Vaughan to support our growing population.”

The funding is a part of the primary spherical of investments beneath the Housing-Enabling Water Programs Fund (HEWSF), which incorporates $970 million to assist municipalities develop, restore, rehabilitate, and develop ingesting water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure, in accordance with a information launch.
