What to know
Olive Garden will be making a comeback in Ontario this summer of 2026, with new spots opening at Vaughan Mills and in Ottawa’s Westboro area. Fans can look forward to unlimited breadsticks and beloved menu staples, including family-style meals and customizable pasta dishes. The expansion is being handled by Recipe Restaurants Group, which took over Olive Garden’s locations in Western Canada back in 2025. Unlimited breadsticks are returning to the GTA in summer 2026. After shutting down its 11 Ontario restaurants during the late 1990s and early 2000s, American chain Olive Garden is back. People living in the GTA can enjoy delicious Italian-inspired meals at their upcoming Vaughan Mills location along with those tasty breadsticks. Recipe Restaurants Group owns Swiss Chalet, Harvey’s, and Montana’s. They bought Darden’s Restaurants’ eight existing Olive Garden spots in Western Canada last July and are now expanding into Ontario. The menu features family-style meals, appetizers, main courses, customizable pasta options, desserts, and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages like gallon iced teas and raspberry lemonade. You’ll also find two-litre sodas along with alcoholic drinks and more. Check out their full menu on their website. In addition to the Vaughan Mills site, another Olive Garden will open in Ottawa’s Westboro neighbourhood.Source link
