York Regional Police have charged a Toronto man after a quadruple taking pictures at a house in Vaughan that killed a 40-year-old mom and her two-year-old son.
Van Viet Duong, 41, of Toronto, is charged with two counts of first-degree homicide and two counts of tried homicide.
The mother has been recognized as Thi Trang Do, 40, and her son is Marcus Vu.
The 2 surviving victims stay in hospital in steady situation. Their identities haven’t been revealed.
Officers have been known as to the house on Casa Nova Drive within the metropolis’s Woodbridge space on Friday, June 21, at round 8:52 a.m. and located all 4 victims inside the house affected by gunshot wounds.
“The accused is believed to be known to the victims, and the incident is believed to be targeted,” police mentioned in a launch on Saturday.
Friday’s double murder comes days after a girl was shot and killed within the parking zone of Vaughan Mills. Two males have since been arrested and charged.
