A man from Innisfil is facing an increasing number of firearm-related charges after police linked him to several shootings throughout southern Ontario that involved over 100 rounds fired at various homes.

York Regional Police announced on Tuesday that Kaejean Isaiah Doman, 23, has been charged in relation to incidents that took place in Vaughan, Brampton, and London, Ont., between mid-August and early September.

The investigation started on Sept. 10 when officers responded to reports of gunfire on Lady Angela Lane, located near Bathurst Street and Teston Road in Vaughan.

Police say they found a suspect vehicle and arrested Doman after a brief foot chase aided by the Canine Unit.

Initially, he faced multiple charges related to firearms and vehicles, including discharging a firearm with intent, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of prohibited weapons and devices, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a vehicle, dangerous operation of a vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and flight from a peace officer.

Police Link Suspect to Seven Shooting Incidents

Since his arrest, investigators have connected Doman to seven different shootings at residential locations in London, Brampton, and Vaughan. Authorities estimate that around 125 shots were fired overall.

The incidents being investigated include:

  • Aug. 18, 2025 – Foxridge Crescent and Tokala Trail, London, Ont.
  • Aug. 26, 2025 – Blue Iris Trail and Footbridge Crescent, Brampton
  • Aug. 31, 2025 – Blue Iris Trail and Footbridge Crescent, Brampton

  • Sept. 7, 2025 – Pottery Place and Blue Willow Drive, Vaughan
  • Sept. 7 ,2025 – Allison Ann Way and Via Romano Boulevard, Vaughan
No injuries have been reported from any of the shootings according to the police.

Doman is now facing six more counts for discharging a firearm with intent as well as six counts for possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition. He has been in custody since his arrest on Sept. 10.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have video surveillance or dashcam footage from the affected areas during the time of these shootings to come forward.
