York Regional Police say a 50-year-old man discovered deceased inside a house in Vaughan final week was the sufferer of a murder.
At round 2:25 p.m. on Sept. 1, officers had been known as to a house within the space of Laskin Drive and Ilan Ramon Boulevard, close to Bathurst Road and Rutherford Street, for a report of an injured individual.
After they arrived on scene, police discovered one man deceased contained in the residence. On Tuesday, investigators mentioned they’re now invesitgating the loss of life as a murder.
The sufferer has been recognized by police as Rakesh ‘Rick’ Joshi, a 50-year-old resident of Vaughan.
Police haven’t launched any data on potential suspects.
“Investigators are appealing to the public for assistance. Any witnesses, or anyone with viedo surveillance or dashcam footage of the area who have not yet spoken with police, are urged to come forward as soon as possible,” a York Regional Police information launch learn.
