A 25-year-old man has passed away after a crash in Vaughan on Tuesday morning, according to police.

Emergency responders arrived around 10:15 a. m. at the intersection of Dufferin Street and Caraway Drive after receiving reports about a collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle, as stated by York Regional Police on social media.

The motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene, police reported. The driver of the other vehicle was unharmed and stayed at the location.

Authorities are asking for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch with them.

The roads that were closed during the investigation have now reopened.
