Police say 39-year-old of no fastened deal with charged after man wields weapon following interplay with residents
The Nottawasaga OPP say they’ve laid costs in reference to a report of a suspicious individual earlier this week in Alliston.
On Monday at round 11:15 a.m., police had been dispatched to a residence on Albert Avenue East following a report of a person seen outdoors with a weapon after an interplay with the residents.
Police say a 39-year-old male of no fastened deal with has been charged with possession of a weapon for a harmful function and assault with a weapon.
The weapon was seized and the accused was launched on an enterprise, police stated in a information launch. He is scheduled to look on Could 30 on the Ontario Courtroom of Justice in Bradford.
Police stated there is no such thing as a risk to public security.
Police stated this incident has no connection to a earlier report of a person armed with a knife in downtown Alliston on Tuesday.
