The Toronto Raptors have a great chance to bounce back after suffering tough losses in their last two games when they take on the struggling Utah Jazz on Sunday night at Scotiabank Arena. The Raptors return home after losing 130-120 in Orlando on Friday and are now two games behind Boston and New York for second place in the Eastern Conference standings. Meanwhile, the Jazz are starting a five-game road trip following a disappointing home stretch where they lost all five games, ending with a 109-99 defeat against the struggling Brooklyn Nets on Friday. The Jazz have dropped four straight road games but hold a record of 2-4 straight up and 5-1 against the spread in their last six as double-digit road underdogs.

The Raptors head into this game as 10.5-point home favorites according to Sunday’s NBA odds. The Jazz are significant +360 underdogs on the NBA moneyline, while the total points line is set at 235.5.

Jazz vs. Raptors NBA Betting Odds

The Raptors have won their last two matchups against the Jazz after sweeping last season’s series, including a 118-109 win in Toronto where they were favored by 5.5 points. This success ended a rough stretch where they went just 1-7 straight up against Utah, which included three losses at home. These teams often put up high scores together, with totals reaching at least 230 in six of their seven meetings, contributing to an impressive 7-1 run for betting the OVER. However, it’s worth noting that while recent games for Utah have featured high scores, those numbers have mostly come from their opponents’ scoring efforts. Overall, during their current struggle of just one win in ten games (1-9), the Jazz are allowing an alarming average of 129.2 points per game and sit last in the league with an average of 127.4 points allowed this season.

Currently sitting at 13th place in the Western Conference, Utah holds one of the worst road records in the NBA at just 5-19. After pulling off an unexpected comeback win against top team Oklahoma City last weekend with a score of 103-101, the Raptors quickly fell back into trouble with two subsequent losses to New York and Orlando, trying to break out of a three-game slide both straight up and against the spread at home; they’ve lost these by over an average margin of more than 14 points per game during this streak. Nevertheless, when favored by double digits at home historically, Toronto has been strong with a record of 17 wins and only one loss straight up but failed to cover spreads recently.

Utah Jazz

As things continue to look bleak for his team, third-year guard Keyonte George has emerged as a bright spot for Jazz fans looking for some hope amid these struggles. The former first-round draft pick scored 26 points along with seven assists during Friday’s loss to Brooklyn and has averaged impressive stats over his past ten games with around 26.3 points and about five assists per outing lately. However, he is currently listed as questionable for Sunday due to an ankle injury he sustained against Brooklyn.

With Jusuf Nurkic sidelined due to injury issues as well, young big man Kyle Filipowski stepped up significantly by contributing another solid performance-he had recorded another double-double after finishing Friday’s game with stats showing him scoring fourteen points along with twelve rebounds; this was his fourth double-double so far this season! Top scorer Lauri Markkanen rested on Friday night but will aim to keep building off recent solid performances-averaging around twenty-seven point one points plus eight rebounds each game while playing away from home.

Toronto Raptors

In spite of fading late during their most recent loss versus Orlando on Friday night , Brandon Ingram managed an outstanding performance that saw him score thirty-five points-the highest among all players involved. He’s averaged about thirty-one over these past couple outings but hasn’t always found consistent success playing within his own arena – having only hit twenty or more once across four previous attempts thus far. That said though “BI” brings plenty experience facing off against these very same jazz franchise – averaging roughly twenty-three point nine throughout sixteen earlier encounters versus them!

Scottie Barnes played well too contributing nineteen total while leading team categories concerning boards (eight) alongside assists (six). In general terms , he has successfully achieved double-doubles across two out three appearances lately-plus racked-up ten-plus assist totals five separate times since late December making him potentially worth considering betting-wise if you fancy placing value wagers regarding achieving triple-doubles via those favorable odds set around +1450!
