Police say a yearlong investigation into an alleged Larger Toronto Space legal community has ended with charges towards 17 folks.
York Regional Police say an investigation that started with an armed dwelling invasion final Christmas Eve finally unravelled a hoop of alleged criminals planning dwelling invasions and trafficking medication.
Police say officers had been known as on Dec. 24, 2023, to a house in Vaughan the place three masked suspects had allegedly damaged into a house and held the household inside at gunpoint.
When officers arrived, one suspect was taken into custody and two others fled.
Working with police from Toronto and Peel Area, York police say they carried out a big investigation dubbed “Venture Skyfall” that finally arrested 17 suspects, together with somebody who had accessed Ministry of Transportation databanks for the advantage of the legal community.
Police say officers carried out 48 search warrants in the course of the investigation, recovering medication and weapons.
