Emergency crews responded to a residential hearth in Etobicoke late Thursday night.
Toronto Hearth Companies have been referred to as to a house close to Willowridge Street and Eglinton Avenue West at roughly 11:15 p.m.
Authorities say a person in his 70s was extracted from the hearth and transported to a hospital the place he later died from his accidents.
It’s unclear if the house had any working smoke detectors. An investigation by the Ontario Hearth Marshall is ongoing.
No different particulars have been launched.
