A woman aged 57 is facing multiple charges after authorities discovered illegal drugs in a home in Tillsonburg.

 Officers from the Oxford OPP, together with the Brant and Norfolk Community Street Crimes Unit, supported an investigation led by the Oxford OPP Community Street Crimes Unit.

The search warrant resulted in finding not only drugs but also property related to the offenses at a residence on Venison Street in Tillsonburg.

 On February 18, police arrested the local resident who faces three counts of possession with intent to traffic cocaine, methamphetamine, and opioids; obstructing a peace officer; as well as possession of property obtained through crime valued under $5,000.

 Police Seek Public Help After Credit Card Theft from Mailbox

<p Authorities are asking for assistance from the community to identify a suspect involved in stealing a credit card from a mailbox near Port Dover.

The Norfolk OPP reported that between Friday, February 13 and Saturday, February 14, items were taken from a mailbox at a property on Concession 5 Woodhouse.

The stolen credit card was subsequently used at a business on Main Street in Port Dover shortly before 2 p. m. on February 14.

The suspect is described as around 30 years old with reddish-brown facial hair and was seen wearing a yellow toque and black jacket during the time of use.

Norfolk Man Found Hiding Inside Home Faces Charges

A man from Norfolk County is facing charges tied to an alleged break-and-enter in Simcoe.

PAt just before six o’clock on February 18th , Norfolk County OPP responded to reports of suspected break-and-enter activity at a home located on Kent Street North. Officers discovered someone hiding within the residence.

The accused is charged with unlawfully being in a dwelling house and failing to comply with probation terms.

Two Individuals Charged for Impaired Driving in Separate Cases

The Norfolk County OPP have apprehended two individuals for impaired driving during different incidents.

On February fourteen around one twenty PM , police executed a traffic stop along James street within Simcoe.

A fifty five year old resident of Norfolk County was charged.

LATER ON THE SAME DAY AROUND ELEVEN PM , An officer on patrol pulled over another driver for speeding along Queensway East within Simcoe.

A thirty five year old individual from Thames Centre faced charges.
