A tragic incident has resulted in one person losing their life after a single-vehicle accident in Tillsonburg, Ont.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Oxford detachment, along with paramedic and fire services, arrived at the scene on Progress Drive off Highway 3 around 3:15 p. m. Thursday, where a solitary vehicle had gone off the road.
“I’m sad to say, the driver of that vehicle suffered serious life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased on-scene,” said Sergeant Ed Sanchuk.
The OPP’s traffic incident management and enforcement team is looking into the details surrounding the crash, “in an attempt to put the pieces of the puzzle back together,” said Sanchuk.
