Six Arrested in Thunder Bay Drug Bust, Including Three from Southern Ontario

Thunder Bay, ON – A joint operation involving Thunder Bay Police, the OPP, and different companies has resulted within the arrest of six people and the seizure of suspected cocaine and fentanyl in Thunder Bay.

The Thunder Bay Police Service Intelligence Unit, with assist from the Emergency Process Unit and the Ontario Provincial Police Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, executed a search warrant at a residence within the 700 block of Syndicate Avenue North on Wednesday, November sixth.

In the course of the search, officers seized portions of suspected cocaine and fentanyl, together with an undisclosed amount of money.

Charges and Potential Penalties

Six people had been arrested and face drug trafficking charges:

Jonathon Bryson, 50, of Thunder Bay: Possession for the Objective of Trafficking (Cocaine), Possession for the Objective of Trafficking (Fentanyl), Possession of Proceeds of Crime beneath $5,000, and Breach of a Launch Order.   

Deserrae Barber, 38, of Thunder Bay: Possession for the Objective of Trafficking (Cocaine), Possession for the Objective of Trafficking (Fentanyl), Possession of Proceeds of Crime beneath $5,000, and Breach of Probation.   

Elijah Clarke-Caboni, 18, of Brampton: Possession for the Objective of Trafficking (Cocaine), Possession for the Objective of Trafficking (Fentanyl), and Possession of Proceeds of Crime beneath $5,000.   

Levi Myran, 39, of Thunder Bay: Possession for the Objective of Trafficking (Cocaine), Possession for the Objective of Trafficking (Fentanyl), and Possession of Proceeds of Crime beneath $5,000.   

Roshawn Williams-Myers, 19, of Brampton: Possession for the Objective of Trafficking (Cocaine), Possession for the Objective of Trafficking (Fentanyl), and Possession of Proceeds of Crime beneath $5,000.   

A 17-year-old youth from Toronto: Possession for the Objective of Trafficking (Cocaine), Possession for the Objective of Trafficking (Fentanyl), and Possession of Proceeds of Crime beneath $5,000.   

The fees of Possession for the Objective of Trafficking carry severe penalties upon conviction, together with potential imprisonment, relying on the sort and quantity of medicine concerned. Breach of Launch Order and Breach of Probation charges may end up in further penalties for violating court-ordered circumstances.

Presumption of Innocence

It is very important keep in mind that all accused people are thought of harmless till confirmed responsible in a courtroom of regulation.

All accused appeared in courtroom on Thursday, November seventh, and had been remanded into custody pending future courtroom appearances.
