Ontario’s Particular Investigations Unit (SIU) is investigating a capturing involving police that came about close to Thunder Bay this week.
The SIU mentioned the capturing occurred within the space of Freeway 11/17 and Pebblestone Highway at about 2:15 p.m. Thursday.
In a media launch, the SIU mentioned that preliminary info suggests police obtained 911 calls from drivers travelling within the space, reporting a person with a shotgun strolling on the freeway.
