Thunder Bay foursome opened with a lopsided loss in Moncton.
MONCTON — It wasn’t the beginning Ron Rosengren was on the lookout for to open the Canadian Senior Males’s Curling Championship.
The Thunder Bay rink gave up 5 within the third finish to Staff Alberta, skipped by James Pahl, and went on to lose their first sport 10-3 on Sunday night.
Rosengren, whose crew consists of third Gary Maunula, second Dale Wiersema and lead Invoice Peloza, may solely handle singles within the second and fifth ends, including one other with a steal within the sixth to path 7-3.
Alberta added three extra within the tenth to place the match away.
They will tackle Prince Edward Island and Ontario on Monday.
