MineConnect will settle for nominations till Dec. 15

SUDBURY — MineConnect is looking for nominations for its annual Corridor of Fame induction.

The group, which represents mining service and provide corporations in Northern Ontario, yearly selects members to obtain recognition for his or her enduring contributions to Northern Ontario’s mining trade over their lifetimes.

To be eligible, nominees should be members of MineConnect and have a minimum of 20 years of documented accomplishment and vital affect on the trade.

That features contributing to the financial well being of the area, demonstrating innovation and imaginative and prescient, and serving to to create jobs for northerners.

For the reason that Corridor of Fame was created in 2007, 29 individuals from throughout the North have been added to the Corridor’s ranks. In 2023, Alistair Ross and John Mason had been added to the checklist.

MineConnect members have till Dec. 15 to submit their strategies by way of the group’s on-line nomination kind, which is accessible right here.

The inauguration ceremony will happen Feb. 15, 2025 at Collège Boréal in Sudbury.
