Embraced by the love of his household, John Ronald Silvey handed away January 19, 2025.
He was born February 2,1940 in Fort William Ontario, the place he lived along with his household: his mom Anna, stepfather Mike, his sisters Irene, Ann and Mary and brother Peter.
John retired in 1999 with the place of Hearth Captain with the Metropolis of Thunder Bay.
He was a longtime member of Chapple’s Golf Membership and the Fort William Nation Membership. John loved many {golfing} holidays to the States with “the boys”. He was additionally a member of the Fort William curling membership.
John and Margaret loved many winter holidays in Laughlin, Nevada and travelling to Duluth with their pals having fun with the casinos.
John is survived by his spouse of 61 years Margaret, daughter Barb (Jeff) and son Ronald (Amy). He’s additionally survived by many nieces and nephews.
John was predeceased by his father John, his granddaughters Kayla Fitzpatrick, Prayer & Religion Silvey, and quite a few different relations.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life shall be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Firefighters Toys for Tots marketing campaign.
John shall be remembered for his sense of humour, his love and his kindness.
