A deadly collision involving one business motorcar and one pedestrian alongside Freeway 17, roughly 5 kilometres west of English River occurred on Thursday morning.
ENGLISH RIVER — Freeway 17 has reopened west of Thunder Bay following a deadly collision between a business motorcar and a pedestrian on Thursday morning.
At roughly 10:14 a.m., members of the Ignace, Dryden, Shabaqua & Thunder Bay Ontario Provincial Police detachments together with the Hearth & Emergency Medical Providers responded to a report of a deadly collision involving one business motorcar and one pedestrian alongside Freeway 17, roughly 5 kilometres west of English River.
One particular person was pronounced deceased and the freeway was closed as a result of collision till roughly 6 p.m. Thursday.
The OPP stated that the investigation is ongoing, and no charges are being thought of presently.
