We’re very unhappy to announce the passing of Carol Edna Dolores Hamlin on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 81 years of age.

She was born in Port Arthur, Ontario on December 6, 1943 and lived there and Upsala, Ontario for a number of years then spending the remainder of her life in Fort William, Ontario (now Thunder Bay). She went to Kingsway Park Public Faculty and Selkirk Excessive Faculty. After graduating she labored for a few years as a bookkeeper in Thunder Bay.

She was predeceased by her grandparents Ane and Hans Hansen and Florence and Frederick Hamlin, father William (Invoice) Hamlin (1944), mom Emma Hamlin (2004), brothers Invoice Hamlin and Dryden Hamlin, sister-in-law June Hamlin, nephews Mark Hamlin and Harold Bryk and plenty of aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is survived by her sister Corine Milton (Ray), brother Lloyd Hamlin (Connie), sister-in-law Esther Hamlin. She can be survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and different family members.

Cremation has taken place and as per Carol’s needs no service will likely be held. An interment will happen in Riverside Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations could also be made to a charity of your alternative.

The Household want to thank all of the Docs and Employees on the TBRHSC, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Southbridge Roseview Manor for all of the care and help given to Carol over the previous two and a half years. Additionally particular because of Mayanna, Amber, Pam, Ellen and Cheryl for his or her help right now. It was actually appreciated.
