Charges have now been laid following an incident in St. Thomas on Monday.

Police arrived at a residence early Monday morning after receiving a number of 9-1-1 calls about an individual being assaulted by their companion.
Once they arrived on the scene, police have been made conscious that the suspect had left the realm and was armed with a knife.
The suspect was positioned on the roof of a neighbouring home, and after a number of hours was taken into custody.
The sufferer suffered accidents to their face and lacerations to their arm because of the confrontation.
