Local Man Linked to Far-Right Pedophile Protests

Welland resident Rob Primerano, right, was part of a motorcycle convoy on Church Street in St. Catharines. The bikers joined a protest in front of the courthouse to show support for a young sexual assault victim. A Second Sons sticker can be seen on his bike’s fairing.

A man from Welland, who is taking the lead in an anti-pedophile community safety group, has been found sharing Nazi propaganda and white nationalist views online.

Rob (Primo) Primerano declared himself a white nationalist on the social media platform X back in April. He followed that up with a post in June expressing his desire to make Canada “white again.”

Primerano, often called Primo on his social media accounts, is backing a fundraising campaign on Give Send Go. com aimed at providing a “community patrol response team” with gear like body cameras, drones, reflective jackets, flashlights, headlamps, gloves, whistles, two-way radios, police scanners, battery packs and binoculars “to document incidents and expose predators.”

The Standard attempted to contact Primerano through social media but did not receive a response.

The campaign has successfully raised over $1,800 of its $10,000 target.

Primerano organized and led a group of motorcyclists who participated in two recent protests outside the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse located in downtown St. Catharines.

The protesters included survivors and other local residents demanding tougher sentences and bail reforms following a horrific late August incident where a three-year-old girl was raped during a break-in at her Welland home by an alleged registered sex offender who had recently been released from jail for another conviction.

Daniel Senecal, 25 years old, had previously been convicted of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy. Family members of the victim stated that Senecal served only 12 months of an 18-month sentence before being released in March.

Senecal now faces multiple charges related to the attack on the toddler that resulted in her hospitalization and need for reconstructive surgery. He remains incarcerated and is set to appear in court this November regarding these charges.

The motorcycle used by Primerano during these protests features a sticker from Second Sons displayed prominently on its fairing.

David C. Hofmann, director of criminology and criminal justice at University of New Brunswick, explained that Second Sons is a Canadian men-only white nationalist group established in 2024 by Jeremy Mac Kenzie-an active figure within far-right circles.

When asked for comments about this matter, Mac Kenzie replied via email stating: “This person (Primerano) is not a member of our organization.”

Second Sons-often referred to as SS online-along with another group have conducted training sessions across Hamilton and Niagara at various gyms and public locations.

A CBC investigation uncovered one such jiujitsu training session involving Second Sons held at a Welland martial arts center back in May 2025. Primerano’s involvement was confirmed by matching tattoos visible on his legs with images posted on his X account.

Hofmann described Second Sons as white supremacists and ethnonationalists.

“Their goal is essentially about creating an ethnostate for whites. In the short term though it revolves around spreading their message while targeting specific groups,” he said.

“They pose as good old Canadian boys; however behind closed doors they express extreme racist views along with antisemitic sentiments and are opposed to immigration.”

At one point during demonstrations they gathered at monuments chanting their slogan: “All thy sons.” ‘ Public and open with their hate’: Masked white nationalist group marches at popular Niagara monument

A professor from University of Winnipeg suggests that Second Sons Canada was testing boundaries during its recent activities.

A source linked to the Second Sons but unable to officially represent them or Mac Kenzie disagreed with labeling them as white supremacists or ethnonationalists.

“Are they advocating for any kind of ethnically pure state? No. Do they have concerns regarding immigration? Yes-but no more than what we hear discussed across our country.”

“They possess rights concerning assembly-and free speech too! It may not align perfectly with everyone’s preferences but there’s no proof they’ve engaged in violent acts typically tied to far-right organizations.”

Hofmann mentioned he’s not shocked seeing street patrols emerge following these protests since far-right groups historically create narratives centered around safeguarding women & children.

“You can stir people up easily by saying they’re trying to take our women & kids,” Hofmann explained further adding,

“This could lead someone protesting against drag queen story times or Pride events under claims those involved are endangering children-or suggesting gender-affirming care constitutes child abuse.”

“It seems logical for someone wanting capitalize on such terrible events where young ones face abuse; They’ve gotten quite adept at exploiting these significant moments over past decade while gaining visibility & sometimes co-opting movements.”<pposts on Telegram by Primerano dated Oct.9 highlighted parts taken from ‘Mein Kampf’ , Adolf Hitler's autobiography along with political manifesto. “ The post quotes Hitler discussing how one might foster national spirit encouraging individuals towards armament stating : ‘The problem reestablishing political power nation primarily rests upon restoring instincts self-preservation.’”
