Police say the unknown male suspect attended the TD Canada Financial institution at this location with a firearm and demanded forex earlier than fleeing on foot with an unknown quantity of forex; he was final seen exiting the plaza with a firearm and ran in the direction of Grenadier Court docket

On Monday, Dec. 9, 2024 at roughly 10:28 a.m., 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service attended the world of Scott Road and Vine Road within the Metropolis of St. Catharines, for a financial institution theft name for service.

Investigation revealed an unknown male suspect attended the TD Canada Financial institution at this location with a firearm and demanded forex.  The male suspect fled the scene on foot with an unknown quantity of forex and was final seen exiting the plaza with a firearm and ran in the direction of Grenadier Court docket in St. Catharines. The K9 Unit with the Niagara Regional Police Service attended the world nevertheless had damaging ends in finding the suspect. 

The male suspect is described as:


Male
White
Carrying all black 
Black backpack
Black baseball cap

1 District detectives (St. Catharines/Thorold) with the Niagara Regional Police Service have taken carriage of the investigation and are asking anybody with info anybody with video or sprint cam footage who have been within the space to contact detectives at 905-688-4111, possibility 3, ext. 1009964.

The male suspect is probably armed with a firearm.  If anybody observes this male, don’t method and name 911.

Members of the general public who want to present info anonymously can contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara on-line or by calling 1-800-222-8477.  Crime Stoppers provides money rewards to individuals who contact this system with info which ends up in an arrest.
