A St. Catharines woman has been charged after police seized over $21,000 in magic mushrooms.
Officers opened an investigation into the distribution of unlawful medicine in July. Detectives then executed a search warrant on Wednesday at a dispensary referred to as Enjoyable Guyz on St. Paul St. between Queen and William streets.
Police arrested an worker and recovered 2,119 grams of magic mushrooms, which is price roughly $21,190.
Carli Daybreak Alicia Summers, 31, was charged with possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime underneath $5,000, possession of psilocybin for the aim of trafficking, and trafficking psilocybin.
Summers is scheduled to seem in a St. Catharines courtroom on Sept. 14.
