Niagara police are trying to find a 21-year-old Quebec man following the deliberate theft of an Audi SUV from a dealership in St. Catharines in March.
Police say two suspects contacted Audi Niagara originally of March to schedule a check drive for a 2021 Audi RS Q8 Quattro SUV.
The pair gave dealership employees fraudulent identification earlier than the check drive after which proceeded to steal the automobile.
The stolen SUV was later present in Toronto, and police have been in a position to determine the 2 suspects as 48-year-old Michel Pothel and 21-year-old Romeo Cyr, each from Quebec.

Investigation revealed that Pothel was linked to violent carjackings within the York Area, whereas Cyr had connections to earlier carjackings within the Peel Area.
On Friday, Pothel was discovered to be in custody for an unrelated matter. He was charged with theft of a motorcar and failure to adjust to a probation order in reference to the stolen Audi SUV.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Cyr, who is needed for the theft of a motorcar, personation with intent, uttering cast paperwork, and possession of determine data for fraud.
He’s described as being five-foot-ten in top, 175 kilos, with a slender construct, brown hair, and blue eyes.
