A portion of Freeway 406 in St. Catharines closed Thursday morning following a two-vehicle crash that left one man injured, and a lady in severe situation.
Police say the collision occurred at round 9:10 a.m. on Freeway 406, south of Westchester.
Officers say a 59-year-old woman was the only driver of 1 automobile who was transported to hospital and is in severe situation.
The only driver of the opposite automobile is a person who was transported to hospital for accidents that weren’t as severe.
In a publish on X round 9:30 a.m., Ontario Provincial Police say they closed the southbound lanes of Freeway 406 at Westchester Crescent and each on ramps.
Niagara police closed Freeway 406 southbound from Westchester to Glendale Avenue, whereas northbound the left lane was closed north of Glendale Avenue.
Officers reopened the freeway after 5 p.m.
