Police launch names of victims in suspicious deaths in St. Catharines

Police release names of victims in suspicious deaths in St. Catharines

With the consent of their household, Niagara Regional Police have recognized the victims in relation to 2 suspicious deaths in a St. Catharines dwelling earlier this week.

Police say the victims are Celine-Marie Owens and Harold Owens, each age 75.

On Monday at 12:15 p.m. police responded to an help ambulance name at a residence on Elma Road, close to Scott Road and Dorothy Road.

When officers arrived on scene, two folks have been discovered deceased inside the home.

“The Niagara Regional Police Service acknowledges that this has been an impactful and emotional time for our neighborhood; residents within the space of the place this occurred are a close-knit neighborhood and have been useful and cooperative with detectives,” police mentioned Wednesday in a information launch.

Police mentioned the scene stays an energetic investigation by the Murder Unit, together with detectives from the 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) Detective Workplace, Forensic Companies and the Workplace of the Coroner.
