St. Catharines Vulnerable Assistance Registry

The City of St. Catharines understands how much the severe rainfall on July 27-28, 2026 has affected families, residents, and businesses in our area. The City is offering assistance to eligible residents who need help with removing water and waste from their homes.

Niagara Falls Flood Recovery Support Program

The City of Niagara Falls has created a Flood Recovery Program for residential property owners and tenants whose properties were impacted by the flooding on August 2, 2026.

The Registry allows eligible residents to request:

Additional curbside collection of flood-damaged household materials. Access to participating Niagara Region waste drop-off depots.

Town of Lincoln Advocates for Disaster Recovery Assistance

The Town of Lincoln has declared a State of Emergency and is urging the Governments of Ontario and Canada to recognize how serious this disaster is and provide aid for affected residents, businesses, and communities throughout Niagara.

The Town is pushing with the Province of Ontario to start activating the Disaster Recovery Assistance for Ontarians (DRAO) program.

If you live in Lincoln and have suffered damage due to the flooding on July 21 and August 2, please fill out our brief form by August 17. This information will be shared with the Province of Ontario to assess whether this program can be activated. If you need help filling out the form, please reach out at 905-563-2799 during business hours (Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a. m. to 4:30 p. m.).

If the Province approves the Town’s request for financial support, eligible applicants could receive funds for emergency expenses as well as costs associated with repairing or replacing essential property.
