In December of 2023 Detectives from the 1 District (St. Catharines / Thorold) Avenue Crime Unit of the Niagara Regional Police Service started an investigation into the sale of unlawful medication round Geneva Avenue and Queenston Avenue within the Metropolis of St. Catharines.

The investigation led to the identification of two male suspects. On Dec. 20, 2023 at roughly 11:55 a.m., detectives noticed the males strolling within the space and fashioned grounds to imagine they had been actively engaged in promoting unlawful medication. Detectives approached the males to position them beneath arrest.

Adonai Wilson (22 years) of Brampton has been arrested and charged with the legal offences of:


Possession for the Function of Trafficking – Opioid
Possession of Proceeds of Crime Underneath $5,000

Gareth Gavonne Andre Baugh (25 years) of Mississauga has been arrested and charged with the legal offences of:


Carry a Firearm in a Careless Method
Possession of a Restricted Firearm And not using a Licence
Possess a Restricted Firearm Knowingly And not using a Licence
Possession of a Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Trafficking (Cocaine)
Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Trafficking (Oxycodone)
Possession of Proceeds of Crime Underneath $5,000
Fail to Adjust to Launch Order (two counts)

Wilson and Baugh had been held in custody for a video bail listening to to the Robert S. Okay. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines on Dec. 21, 2023.
