Niagara regional police arrested an worker from St. Catharines Collegiate Wednesday following a sexual assault investigation.
Police started an investigation Sept. 12, into the report of an alleged sexual assault at St. Catharines Collegiate on 34 Catherine Road within the Metropolis of St. Catharines.
Investigators say a caretaker from the varsity had touched a scholar below the age of 16 years outdated in a sexual method on campus throughout college hours.
Detectives arrested 56-year-old Lawrence Paroyan from St. Catharines Wednesday and have charged him with sexual assault and sexual interference.
Paroyan was held in custody pending a bail listening to scheduled to occur Thursday at a St. Catharines courthouse.
Officers say they’ve motive to imagine there could also be extra victims and can proceed to analyze.
