Sufferer significantly injured in Aug. 10 assault

On Aug. 10, 2024, 1 District (St. Catharines / Thorold) detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service started investigating an assault that occurred within the Metropolis of St. Catharines. On account of the investigation, detectives recognized the suspect as Raymond Douglas Warner (34 years) of no mounted handle.

On Aug. 20, 2024, detectives appealed to the general public for data which will result in the situation and arrest of Warner. Inside hours of the general public enchantment, detectives have been capable of find and arrest Warner within the Metropolis of St. Catharines.

Raymond Douglas Warner has been arrested and charged with the Prison Code offence of:

    •    Aggravated assault

Warner is being held in custody for a video bail listening to to the Robert S. Ok. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines on Aug. 21, 2024.

Detectives want to thank the general public for his or her help on this matter. This stays an ongoing investigation as detectives are focused on figuring out and talking with the three extra males that have been with Warner on the time of this assault. Every other one that could have details about this incident or could have witnessed it are requested to contact detectives.
