The theft of an unlocked minvan from a Penetanguishene enterprise was the beginning of a collection of prison investigations by Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) over the course of the Thanksgiving weekend.
A Honda Odyssey was taken by an unknown particular person from a parking zone on Fuller Avenue in Penetanguishene on Friday.
Police reviewed the parking zone surveillance footage and recognized a suspect.
Later that evening between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., an unlocked Sierra pickup truck was stolen from a residence in Clearview Township.
