Temporary exhibit Youseum ‘lets visitors of all ages discover what it’s like to design and build their very own museum exhibit’

Enjoy some family-friendly fun this March break by stopping by the Simcoe County Museum.

Come check out Youseum, our thrilling temporary exhibit that lets you take on the role of a curator. This hands-on experience allows visitors of all ages to find out what it’s like to create and construct their very own museum exhibit.

Get set to create, experiment, and innovate with engaging challenges. Build the longest marble run you can think of, launch a paper airplane into the sky, and see if your egg can survive in the ultimate splat-proof challenge.

Also, don’t forget to visit the B. I. G. Zone, where you can dive into a variety of Big Interactive Games scattered throughout the Simcoe Gallery for some oversized fun you won’t forget.

Event: March break at the Simcoe County Museum
Dates: Saturday, March 14 to Sunday, March 22, 2026
Time: 10 a. m. – 4 p. m.
Location: Simcoe County Museum, 1151 ON-26, Minesing, L9X 0Z7
Cost (regular admission: $8 for adults (21 to 64), $6 for seniors (65-plus), $6 for youth (12 to 20), $4 for children (four to 11), free for preschoolers and museum members

Bring along your curiosity, creativity, and imagination; March break at the museum is a great spot to learn, play, and explore together.
