Simcoe County actual property market stays ‘dynamic, evolving’

The Barrie & District Affiliation of Realtors (BDAR) has launched its newest market knowledge for November 2024, highlighting continued resilience and development in Simcoe County’s actual property market.

The information reveals important year-over-year positive factors and slight month-over-month changes, indicating a market adapting to evolving circumstances.

In November 2024, Simcoe County noticed 617 dwelling gross sales, representing a 63.23 per cent enhance from the 378 gross sales recorded in November 2023.

In comparison with October 2024, gross sales dipped by 6.66 per cent, reflecting typical seasonal tendencies. The typical sale worth reached $811,934, up 3.41 per cent from $785,161 a 12 months in the past, although down 3.78 per cent from $843,791 in October 2024.

New listings totalled 1,432, marking a 9.06 per cent enhance in comparison with November 2023. Nevertheless, this represents a 25.84 per cent lower from October 2024’s 1,931 new listings.

Lively listings stood at 3,613, a 58.60 per cent rise year-over-year and a 4.76 per cent enhance from October 2024.

The months of stock sat at 5.86, indicating balanced market circumstances.

“The numerous year-over-year development in gross sales displays the continuing demand and resilience of the Simcoe County actual property market,” says BDAR’s chair, Robin Jones. “Consumers are persevering with to see alternatives in our area, and with extra energetic listings out there, the market is providing larger flexibility and choices.

“As we head into the brand new 12 months, Simcoe County stays a dynamic and evolving marketplace for patrons and sellers alike.”
