South Simcoe police say particular person wasn’t on Harvest Hills Public College property; no college students, employees or school have been concerned

South Simcoe police took an individual having an obvious mental-health disaster close to a Bradford elementary college into custody Thursday morning. 

On Nov. 14 at about 9 a.m., officers acquired a name for what they’ve decided was a “psychological well being incident” within the space of Geddes Road and Crossland Boulevard, positioned within the north finish of Bradford West Gwillimbury. This occurred within the neighborhood of Harvest Hills Public College. 

The person was not on college property. Nor did the incident contain college students, employees or academics.

“Public safety is our top priority and South Simcoe Police would like to advise that there is no immediate risk to the public, or the students, staff and faculty of the school,” division spokesperson Samah Othman stated in a media launch. “The individual apprehended is currently being assessed for medical assistance and police remain in the area until the investigation concludes.”
