Authorities Investigate ‘Residential Explosion’ in Bayham

The Ontario Provincial Police are looking into what they’re calling a residential explosion in Bayham-a rural area near Lake Erie that includes Port Burwell and Vienna.

Sandytown Road will be closed from Stewart Road to Maple Grove Line while officers investigate this “residential explosion,” as stated by Ontario Provincial Police officers from Elgin County in a social media update shortly after 6 p. m. on Friday.

Sandytown Road runs through rural land between Eden and Straffordville communities.
