A Norfolk County man is dealing with a number of charges after police seized a prohibited weapon and medicines Monday.
Ontario Provincial Police say they had been known as round 12:08 p.m. to a location on Freeway 3 in Simcoe, the place a driver was arrested in relation to drug trafficking offences.
Investigators carried out a search warrant practically an hour later at a house on Oakwood Avenue. Officers seized a amount of suspected cocaine and methylenedioxymethamphetamine, money, drug paraphernalia and a prohibited weapon.
Justin Haskett, 35, has been charged with unauthorized possession of a weapon and three drug-related offences.
