The County of Simcoe reminds residents of the next schedule adjustments for Thanksgiving Day on Monday, Oct. 14:

Curbside waste assortment and waste drop-off amenities


Waste assortment is ongoing as there isn’t any change to the county’s waste assortment schedule.
All county waste drop-off amenities are closed on Monday, Oct. 14 apart from the Matchedash facility, which is open on its common schedule on Sunday, Oct. 13 and Monday, Oct. 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

LINX Transit


LINX Transit providers aren’t in operation on Oct. 14 (excluding Route 4).

Route 4 solely will likely be working a Sunday schedule on Monday, Oct. 14.


Return to recurrently scheduled providers for all routes on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Please go to nextlinx.simcoe.ca to verify all route schedules.

County administration centre (Midhurst) and Service Simcoe Contact Centre


The administration centre, together with the Service Simcoe Contact Centre, will likely be closed to the general public on Monday, Oct. 14.

Ontario Works and kids providers


All Ontario Works and kids providers places of work are closed on Monday, Oct. 14.

Lake Simcoe Regional Airport


The Lake Simcoe Regional Airport will likely be working as ordinary on Monday, Oct. 14.

Simcoe County Museum


The museum will likely be open for its recurrently scheduled hours (10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).

Simcoe County Archives


The archives is closed on Monday, Oct. 14.
