This morning, the Simcoe County Student Transportation Consortium announced that all school buses across the Simcoe County area have been cancelled. The reason for the cancellations is due to bad road conditions and concerns about visibility, with forecasts predicting that these issues will persist throughout the school day.
The following zones are affected:
North – Elmvale, Midland, Penetanguishene, and Orillia
West – Collingwood, Stayner & Wasaga Beach
Central – Barrie, Innisfil & Angus
South – Alliston, Beeton, Bradford, Cookstown & Tottenham
Schools will remain open for students to continue learning.
