Five individuals are facing charges after a recent raid by the Ontario Provincial Police at two residences in Midland and Barrie.

Authorities report that they confiscated nearly one kilogram of cocaine along with over $41,000 in cash during their search on February 12.

Four of the suspects are jointly charged with drug trafficking and possession of property obtained through crime valued under $5,000.

The accused have been named as 32-year-old Jordan Brown from Barrie, 53-year-old Shelly Legault from Midland, 52-year-old Darin Roy from Midland, and 55-year-old Steven Summers from Victoria Harbour.

A fifth individual was arrested due to an unrelated warrant. Additionally, Brown faces extra drug charges following a second search conducted in Barrie.

All five are scheduled to appear in court in Midland at the end of March.
