13-Year-Old Faces Charges After Belle River Incident

13-Year-Old Faces Charges After Belle River Incident

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) report that a 13-year-old has been charged after an incident on Wednesday in Belle River.

Details are limited, but officers from the Lakeshore detachment were called to look into threats being made.

The teen was taken into custody and now faces charges for uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

No injuries occurred, and there were no concerns regarding public safety.

Due to the Ontario Youth Criminal Justice Act, the teen’s identity remains confidential.
