St. Clair School’s males’s and girls’s volleyball groups have each made the Ontario Schools Athletic Affiliation (OCAA) Quarterfinals.
The lads’s group made it after pulling off a significant upset Saturday afternoon in opposition to Georgian School. They ended up successful in 5 units, handing the Grizzlies simply their 2nd lack of the season.
The Saints have been led by fourth 12 months center Zach Partitions who had 20 kills, two service aces, and two stuff blocks.
St. Clair is ready to face the Conestoga Condors in Kitchener on February 15, 2025. The winner will advance to the OCAA Closing 4 Championship. Conestoga gained each matches in opposition to St. Clair throughout the common season.
As for the ladies’s group, they defeated the George Brown Huskies in three units on Saturday to earn the spot within the quarterfinals.
St. Clair was led offensively by third 12 months center Geneva Huisman who had 11 kills and two stuff blocks.
They’re set to host the La Cite Coyotes on Feb. 15, 2025, at 7 p.m. on the Sportsplex. The winner will advance to the OCAA Closing 4.
