A tent at an encampment in Sarnia, Ont., “narrowly” prevented being hit by a car over the weekend, in keeping with native police.
Authorities allege the motive force of the car was impaired when it almost struck a tent in Rainbow Park.
“Officers arrived to seek out the motive force holding an open liquor bottle with a number of empty beer cans within the entrance seat,” Sarnia police mentioned in an announcement.
No accidents had been reported within the incident.
A 25-year-old Blenheim, Ont., man has been charged with impaired operation of a car and for refusing to provide a breath pattern.
