The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are reporting temporary issues with 9-1-1 services throughout the province.
They are currently looking into the matter and collaborating with service providers to quickly restore the emergency phone system.
If you need emergency assistance and can’t reach 9-1-1, please call the OPP’s non-emergency line at 1-888-310-1122, which is still fully operational.
The police want to remind everyone not to use 9-1-1 for testing or asking about the outage.
Despite these interruptions, OPP officers are continuing to respond to calls for help, and updates will be shared as more information becomes available.
