OLG doles out third quarter funds to Level Edward, Sarnia

OLG doles out third quarter payments to Point Edward, Sarnia

The Village of Level Edward has obtained $429,150 in its newest fee from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Company (OLG) for internet hosting Starlight On line casino Level Edward.

The OLG just lately issued third quarter funds to municipalities for internet hosting gaming centres.

Level Edward has obtained $1.3 million to date throughout this fiscal 12 months, which spans from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025.

“OLG’s Municipality Contribution Agreement payments help pave the way for Point Edward to build critical infrastructure and fund important programs that make a real difference for residents,” stated Sarnia-Lambton MPP Bob Bailey in a press release. “Starlight Casino Point Edward supports numerous jobs and generates a great deal of economic activity that, in turn, improves the well-being of our local community.”

Level Edward’s gaming website opened in April 2000, and the village has since obtained over $53 million in complete.

In the meantime, the Metropolis of Sarnia obtained $91,746 in its third quarter fee for internet hosting Gateway Casinos Sarnia.

To date, for this fiscal 12 months, the town has obtained $300,583 in gaming income and practically $28 million for the reason that gaming website opened in Could 1999.

The OLG stated funds are made based mostly on a method persistently utilized throughout all gaming websites in Ontario, utilizing a graduated scale of gaming income on the hosted website.
